Traditional Hatha Yoga with Moo Briddell, Instructor

Moo Briddell has been practicing yoga since 1968 when she met and became a disciple of Swami Chidananda, president Divine Life Society, Rishikesh India. In 1969 she took an intensive two month Yoga Teachers Training course in Val Morin, Quebec. In 1971 she spent a year at Sivananda Ashram H.Q. in India to deepen the study and practice of Yoga/Vedanta and has returned to India a dozen times for conferences, retreats and spiritual renewal. She has continued to study and practice yoga for the past 30 years including a Refresher Teacher Training Course with Sita Frenkel in the past year.Moo teaches the traditional classical Hatha Yoga as passed down from Sivananda to his disciples. The principles of Sivananda Yoga are Serve, Love, Give, Purify, Meditate and Realize. Yoga Classes consist of an hour and a half of warm-up stretches followed by yoga postures or asanas.

The classes will run in an 6 week series starting Tuesday, April 8, 2003.Traditional Yoga - : Tuesdays, 6:30-8 pmBeginning Yoga: Tuesdays 9-10 am.

If you have never taken Yoga or any kind of relaxation movement or stress reduction training this is the class for you.
